Delete your Knockout List account
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Knockout List is an app by McKenna Works LLC. This page says how to delete your account and your information, with the app or without it.
If you own the company
In the app, open More, then Delete company, and type the company's name to confirm. Everything is deleted at once: the company, its foremen and office people and their sign-ins, its plumbers' names and records, every job, item, photo, day list and report.
Deleting the company does not cancel the subscription in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it there as well, so you are not charged again.
If you are a foreman or work in the office
In the app, open More, then Delete my account. Your sign-in, your name and your email address are deleted. The jobs and items you worked on stay with your company, because they are its records.
If you are a plumber
You never made an account; your company's foreman entered your first name. Ask your company's owner: in the app, the owner can remove you, which deletes your name and turns your links off, and can also delete your whole history (what you checked, your notes, your photos). Or write to us, as below.
Without the app
Anyone can ask by email, with no need to open the app. Write to [email protected] with the company's name and your email address, and say what you want deleted. We may write back to that address to make sure the request is yours. We answer within 30 days.
What is kept, and for how long
Backups: deleted information disappears from our database backups within 6 days.
Purchases: Apple and Google keep their own records of the subscription purchase, under their own privacy policies.
Email logs: Resend, which sends our emails, keeps its log of the emails it sent for up to 30 days.
The company's job lists: when a plumber's history is deleted, an item he added to a job's list stays on that job as the company's work, with his name taken off. His checks, notes and photos are deleted.
Nothing else is kept. The full privacy notice is at knockoutlist.com/privacy.
